New BNS Player question - warlock vs assassin PvE dungeons

New BNS Player question:

Newbie here (played Beta up to 24 assassin, if I remember).  Just got back into B&S with the warlock release, and currently have it at 31 or so.  I played assassin in Beta and liked the playstyle and the way it was easy to solo bosses and such with the RMB+F.  I hear with the lvl 50 patch, though, that using a shadow build will be easier to keep up poison.  However, my main question is which of these jobs bring more to group content both at the current cap and then does it change at 50?  I like both jobs about equally, and know warlock gives the ability to use Awakened skills which is helpful.

Any vets who could give me some insight into both the viability of these 2 jobs in group content and to how both contribute in that environment would be welcome!  I don't really PvP at all so this is all from a PvE perspective and all concerning grouping (I know assassin can solo dungeons well by skipping trash and perma-stealth boss for many of them - not sure if warlock can do the same).

BNS Player Answer:

At the current content:

Assassins: Quick and easy to solo stuff. Basically perma stealth. Doesnt provide a lot to a group - also has a harder time maintaining stealth and thus dps in groups. (Group members fighting -> pesky aoe fields all over the place.)

Warlocks: Imo playing solo can be a bit of a pain, but provides the best offensive group buff in the game (3min cd tho). I believe PvE dps is not top, but not horrible right now. I dont have good gear on my warlock tho. More crit also makes for a more fluid gameplay.

What will change at 50?

Assassins: They get a buff similar to Kungfu master, which will increase group members crit, crit damage and so on and make them overpowered (as in: for the duration of the buff. Not the class.). Thus they have group support. Their play style also changes dramatically. You will no longer perma stealth, you will play with the poison build basically. You will actually need to play like other classes and learn boss mechanics xD

Warlock: Cant say much about them to be honest. Not a lot should change here tho. Stil a great group member.

General advice: Pick the class you like the most. If you like warlock, pick warlock. If not assassin. If you play assassin, be prepared for a bit of a change gameplay wise (even tho, still spammy as fck :P). Dont pick something because it felt op, especially at low levels. With level 50 content classes are pretty balanced and all have their advantages and disadvantages. Oh and try to focus your decision on gameplay more than damage output in low-levels.. warlock pretty much one-hits everything until mid 30's, but that wont stay the same with level 45 and 50, of course. Assassin on the other hand cant be seen by any of the lower bosses, however later bosses will have true sight and can see him - and also if you are in a group there are stil aoe's you have to dodge. A first impression in lower levels thus might be misleading.

Majority of the bosses you can tank as a FM without many problems, the only ones that I can think of that you can't tank are open world raid bosses.
